The REUSES project featured in the new CNR Edizioni volume on environmental innovation
The REUSES project is included in the volume “Environmental Innovation and Pragmatism: From Humans as a Problem to Part of the Solution”, edited by Vito Felice Uricchio, Silvia Paparella, and Marco Falconi, published by CNR Edizioni for RemTech Expo 2025 (17-19 September 2025).
The book provides a multidisciplinary and up-to-date perspective on methodologies for remediation, restoration, and sustainable resource management, emphasizing the dialogue between research, institutions, and local communities. With forewords by Minister Gilberto Pichetto Fratin, Deputy Minister Vannia Gava, and General Giuseppe Vadalà, it highlights the importance of collaboration among stakeholders to transform humans into an integral part of environmental solutions.
The REUSES contribution, featured on pages 203–204, is titled:
“Regenerating Urban Sealed Soils to Restore Their Ecosystem Services: the REUSES Project”
Its inclusion confirms the project’s relevance in the scientific and technical debate on urban soil regeneration and the restoration of ecosystem services in anthropized environments.
