Scientific Paper EQA

The preliminary results from the REUSES project were used for the writing of a scientific article titled “Pedological Approach on Sealed Soils: Impacts of Covering Materials on Soil Properties in Urban and Peri-urban Areas,” published within the special issue “Urban soil and green quality for human health” of the journal International Journal of Environmental Quality (EQA). The results highlighted that sealed soils may exhibit issues related to compaction and low nutrient availability. However, variations in the characteristics and uniformity of the covering materials influence pedogenetic processes and soil properties.
