The REUSES project took part in the SoilTribes Bootcamp Challenge, an initiative within a European project dedicated to promoting soil literacy and driving systemic transformation toward fairer, more democratic, and regenerative soil governance models. The Bootcamp represents a co-creation space that brings together public institutions, research centers, civil society, and the social economy, with the goal of developing concrete challenges and prototypes for the protection and enhancement of soil as a common good.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Within the Community of Practice of the European SoilTribes project, we participated in the challenge focused on the reuse of sealed urban soils and the transition toward a circular soil economy, in line with the priorities of the European program and the EU Soil Strategy for 2030. The proposal aims to promote participatory practices and innovative tools for urban soil regeneration through collaboration among researchers, local administrations, businesses, and citizens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Participation in the SoilTribes Bootcamp offered us an important opportunity for exchange and networking within a multidisciplinary European ecosystem, contributing to the dialogue on soil democracy, territorial justice, and the care of common goods, while also giving broad visibility to the REUSES project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
