World Soil Day 2023

On December 11, 2023, the celebration of “World Soil Day” (which is held annually on 5 December) took place with an event titled “Soil in Urban Regeneration” at the Aula Magna of the Department of Agricultural, Food, and Environmental Sciences (D3A) of UNIVPM. During the event, through the various presentations given throughout the morning, scientific reflections and discussions emerged on the contribution of soil (and its inevitable impacts on human and environmental health) in urban regeneration processes. The REUSES project was presented during the scheduled talk titled: “Urban Regeneration Processes in Ancona. Urban soils in Ancona and the desealing project.” Speakers: Prof. Stefania Cocco and PhD Valeria Cardelli.
